Questions
What towing companies actually ask.
Answers here match the EULA and Privacy Policy word for word — if you want the full legal language, it's linked at the bottom of every page.
How much does Tow Right Software cost?
$100/mo USD covers your owner account plus your first four users. Every module is included from day one — dispatch, the driver and dispatcher apps, budgeting, invoicing, the impound yard, payroll, and QuickBooks sync. Additional users are US$20/mo each, the same rate whatever their role or permissions. It also includes 1,000 customer text messages a month. Past that, extra texts are US$40 per 1,000 in whole blocks. You can see the month's count in the app.
Is there a contract, and how do I cancel?
It's month-to-month, no long-term contract, and no notice period. Cancel yourself from the billing portal under Settings › Subscription, or email [email protected] and we'll do it for you. You keep full access, including data export, through the end of the billing period you've already paid for — cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund charges already made.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
We keep it until you ask us to delete it, so you can request an export or reactivate your account later. To have it deleted, email us and say so — deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We recommend exporting anything you need before your access ends.
Does Tow Right integrate with QuickBooks Online?
Yes, two-way — invoices sync out to QuickBooks and payments sync back, included at no extra cost on every plan. QuickBooks Online only: there is no QuickBooks Desktop integration.
Does the driver app work in areas with no cell signal?
Yes, while the app stays open. It queues each step (accepted, on scene, loaded, complete) as you go and stamps it with when it actually happened, not when the phone regained signal and synced — then sends the queue through automatically once you're back in range.
How long does it take to get set up?
An afternoon if you work straight through it. The app walks you through every setup section in order and ticks each one off as it's done, so you always know what's left. If you'd rather not type it all in, describe your shop in plain English and it fills in your rates, hours, trucks and lots for you to check before anything saves. You can also skip it and set each piece up the first time you need it.
Can a dispatcher use it from their phone, or only drivers?
Both. Staff marked as a dispatcher get the full dispatch board on their phone, not just the driver's job view — accept calls, see who's nearest, and answer drivers from the yard, the truck, or the road.
What if I need a feature that doesn't exist yet?
Ask. Tow Right Software is small on purpose, and every feature ships because a real towing company asked for it, not because a roadmap said so — you get a direct line to the people building it, not a support ticket queue.
Who is behind Tow Right Software?
